When Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Hubbell, dau of William DuBois, published her family genealogy in 1928, she did not have complete nor accurate information on Peter's children by his two wives. She did not know his second wife's name nor all of their children. It appears that she and her family did not keep in touch with Peter J. Dubois too well.
